Guest Submissions
Submissions should not be taken as a guarantee of publication. Guest posts are reviewed by a member of the team, who edits the content with the author's approval prior to its publication. Please feel free to contact the IPTango team to discuss in advance the topic of the post to be submitted.
Please keep in mind the requirements for submissions:
* The post must be related to Intellectual Property matters from an academic or practical perspective.* The post must be written in English or Spanish with an impartial tone.
* The post should not exceed 1000 words. However, under certain circumstances, the post can be divided into several parts to be published.
* The content shouldn't have previously published.
* IPTango has the policy of not publishing content in which the author has a direct involvement (e.g. legal representative of the parties). However, this policy doesn't apply to studies and reports in which the author has participated.
* Articles for commercial or self-promotional are not allowed.

Privacy
The data collected derived from subscribing to the blog and guest submissions (e.g. names, email addresses, photographs, links) are treated confidentially.
IPTango relies on its legitimate interests to process this data which is processed for internal use. IPTango doesn't share data with third parties and doesn't make another use of it.
Data derived from subscriptions are processed internally with the only aim to keep you updated with the posts published on the blog. Published posts on the blog are shared on the IPTango's Twitter account.

IPTango uses the following Google tools but doesn't have control over them neither collect data through their use: the blog is hosted on Blogger, Google Groups manage the subscriptions and share the content published by email, Google Translate is active to translate the content published into several languages. This website contains hyperlinks to IP events (e.g. conferences, webinars, courses), books and press announcements, among others.
The hyperlinks and list of events are included on the website in light of the blog's goals:
* To "provide free, reliable, and -if possible- entertaining information" about Intellectual Property Law and practice in Latin America.
* To foster discussions of IP matters in Latin America from an academic and practical perspective.
Once you are redirected to another website when clicking on a hyperlink, you will be subject to the applicable policies (e.g. privacy, copyright) of such website.
Some events that will not be held in Latin America have been added to the "Events" web page, when the topic may be relevant to the region and/or some of the speakers are from LATAM countries. If you want your IP event is included on such web page, please send the information to the IPTango team.
