Chile ramps up WIPO commitments.

There's so much happening in Chile at the moment -- and the country is also gearing up its commitment to international treaties. WIPO has just confirmed Chile's accession to the Budapest Treaty on the International Recognition of the Deposit of Microorganisms for the Purposes of Patent Procedure (see Budapest Notification No. 274) and the Trademark Law Treaty (see TLT Notification No. 54).

Both treaties are effective in Chile from 5 August 2011.
