The Brazilian Instituto Nacional da Propriedade Industrial (INPI) reports that the Ministry of Planning has authorised to offer 250 vacancies at the INPI in Rio de Janeiro. The responsibility for making the offer will reside on INPI’s President who will set up the job description and person specficiaction. INPI will have six months to publicize the announcement of the vacancies, whose appointment must occur from January 2013. It is also reported that the distribution of vacancies are as follows: 86 analysts; 70 researchers; 34 technical planning; 35 technical Industrial Property; 17 technologists; and 8 senior specialists.
