Since last Friday 6th March 2015, the Chilean National Industrial Property Institute (INAPI) has a new tariff in place. Such tariff relates to examinations like patent application; industrial designs; industrial drawings and diagrams for designs or topographies of integrated circuits.
According to INAPI the previous rates remained unchanged since October 2012, and thus, there was the need to increase the fees due to"the variation in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) in recent years."
